When somebody tries your food, is a commitment bigger than telling someone to make a comment on something you wrote or drawn. Because, first of all, the person must trust you are not gonna poison them. And than, to make a judgment, the person must eat what you made! Taste it, put it in their mouth and swollow it! How big of a trust is that!? What if doesn't taste good? What if it is in fact, poisoned? What if it is poisoned on purpose?!
But what if is good? If it's good, the one that tasted it now owns you respect! And might be in fact willing to listen to what you have to say because, nobody can cook this good without something in their head!
So, if in a completely hipotetical scenarium, I would meet somebody famous that I would like to talk to, and listen to, I would cook for them! Not just any meal. A meal thought for them.
I told before about my mild obsession about South Korean Movies. My favorite south korean director is Park Chan-Wook. I would love to know how he comes up with those ideas. How would I do that? I would cook for him a Korean BBQ! Got the recipe from Taste Euphoria
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons white wine
- 3 tablespoons coca cola
- Salt and pepper
- 1 scallion, chopped
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- Mix well everything.
- Let the meat marinate for at least 3 hours, up to a day.
- You can use in chicken, pork, vegetable..
I particularly could eat stones marinated in this sauce
Tastes and smells super korean... It's korean BBQ, but... well, you konw what I mean!
